I’m Julianna Collares, a Brazilian graphic designer and visual artist based in New York and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Currently, I work as a designer at M Booth on the Google team.
My work lives at the intersection of graphic design, art direction, and visual storytelling. I’m especially drawn to projects where imagery leads the narrative, treating photography and moving image with care so the visual language carries the emotion of the idea.
I approach design as a way of translating feelings, concepts, and moments into visual form. Much of my work is influenced by human relationships, subtle emotional states, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Whether through design systems, editorial layouts, or short films, I’m interested in creating visuals that feel both refined and expressive.
Alongside my design practice, I explore filmmaking as a natural extension of my work, building visual worlds where typography, image, and motion exist together to tell stories.
